I have annotated the picture whith the type of things you would normally see on a magazine.
Masthead: This is the main title of the magazien, normally found at the top it can either be infront or behined the picture.
Main picture: This will be the largest picture, taking up most of the front cover.
Colour: This can be very affective if used well, most magaziens keep to simple and contrasting colour schemes .
Barcode: Every magazien has a bar codethis can be anywhere on the back or the front of the magazine.
Essential information: This normally includes price and issue date, normally found next to the bar code
Main sell line: This teases the audiance and makes them want to read more it normally has something to do with the main story. it is regarded as the most important issue.
Sub heading: This tell you a little bit more about what is in the magazine.
Sell line: Normally there is more than one sell line, these tell you about either about the main story or about other things in the magazine.
